You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Christian said he is going to learn to tie flies just for Billy. Thanks for sharing him with us for a bit-he Will have a special place in our hearts.
Your family is in my prayers. So sorry for your loss.
Oh how I will miss this man! Lots of prayers to the family and my sister, Amy, on the loss of this wonderful man
Bill Troutman was enthusiastic about life. He got excited talking about fishing, hunting, the outdoors and especially food. He liked his “fried taters” with his ham and eggs and maybe even a biscuit and gravy for a side dish. He had to leave us all too soon. He was a presence, and everyone knew when Bill was in the room. May he rest in peace. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr. Bill Troutman.
He will be missed by all. Sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers to his family.
Bill was a great Guy going to be missed so sorry for your loss!
Bill and I both worked at a middle school for several years. His can-do attitude was contagious and we all loved his ornery side. Hearing him whistling down the hall or shout a friendly hello made the building a better place to work in. My thoughts are with the family.
A few years before Bill retired, he won staff member of the year at Pioneer Ridge Middle School. Here are thoughts I shared at the time.
With a last name like Troutman, you almost have to love fishing. Bill loves telling stories and talking about fishing and duck hunting. His ability and knowledge place him among the legends of the outdoors for me. But that’s not what makes him special.
Bill Troutman has an unmatched ability to put a smile on the face of those around him. His positive vibes lift you up, even on your worst days. Student love talking to him, and he genuinely listens when they do. He shows his support for students by attending concerts, sports, and charity events.
I’m lucky to call him my fishing buddy. It makes me feel like there must be something special about me, to get to have a friendship with Mr. Troutman. The thing is, a lot of people at PRMS feel the same way. That’s his greatest gift.
Bill was a wonderful friend. Will be missed by everyone. Prayers and condolences to the family.
I met Bill and Jeff Bone at Pioneer Ridge. I called them the dynamic duo at work. They supported me and my volleyball team and would come to all the games. Bill had a special gift of gab and making someone feel so loved. The girls loved them so much they made them honorary coaches shirts to wear to the game and they would sit on the team bench with us. I am so sad about this. Now that I have moved to Oklahoma, I would get a random text with a pic of him and a big fish now and again and it would make me smile. He was an amazing light and such an amazing man. I am sad I cannot make the funeral but will be praying for you and your family. He will be missed.

Bill is in loving arms, of God, I know, in a heavenly place with streams filled with many fish, a paradise of comfort, and no pain! Prays for Bill and all who love and will miss him! Always enjoyed our talks, when I’d see him at Pioneer! RIP kind man..
Reading all the comments about our Friend Bill are all true. He was one of a kind human being. Linden and I have had the privilege of meeting Bill Sr and Maxine, when they became our neighbors on Truman Lake. Brian and Bill’s children have grown up with our Grands. We consider them all our “2nd” family and our hearts are sad today. We have so many memories and we will be making many more. Love and peace to our Troutman family today and all the days to come.
My deepest condolences to the family. B, I know you will miss Bill so much. He was a great big brother. We did have loads of fun together long ago. I remember Bill as very happy all the time and just full of joy and life. I pray for peace and comfort for his family.
Bill was a good friend who always kept everyone guessing and laughing. He will be missed.
Be praying for the family. He was a great guy. Always said get her done
Bill was the janitor at Pioneer when I first started as a lunch lady. This old fart was as onery as they come. Always doing magic tricks, pulling quarters outta kids ears lol.Youd always find him cruising the halls, humming a tune. Whistling thatd annoy you to no end!😂 He dealt with the kiddos much the same way I did. Put the ornery ones to work, telling em to “keep those brooms pushin”, keeping those idle hands busy! Always taking in the ones that got picked on and having them serve a purpose. Prayers to his family! I’m certain hes dearly missed! His energy was contagious. ❤
Deepest Sympathies for all involved. I met Bill at Dr Weinands dental office. We made an easy connection. Because we both are from the same area. I grew up at Truman and Holke rd. So I road the bus in that neighborhood. Went to school with a lot of those kids up on Ann. He is my older brother’s age. So the Wiggins family is our connection. RIP Bill will miss your visits.
