William “Bill” Edward Anson passed away in his home in Kansas City, MO, Friday October 12, 2012 at the age of 62.
Bill is survived by his wife, Evelyn Anson. They were married in Kansas City, MO.
Bill is remembered by his daughters, Shauna Miller and husband, Robert of Smithville, MO; Kerrie Morris and husband, Lamonte of Fort Myers, FL; and son, Alan Anson of Shawnee, KS; 5 grandchildren: Alexis, Breanna, Kennedy, Amani and Xavier; and four sisters: Mary, Patricia, Jeanne and Lynn. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Francis “Bob” Anson and a sister, Constance “Connie” Davidson.
Bill was born in West Virginia, graduated from Bishop Ward and worked at Hallmark Cards. Bill joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Era, he was a Spec 4 in accounting and stock control. He received his Honorable Discharge in 1971. He enjoyed music, dancing, camping and traveling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Therese Catholic Church 7202 NW Highway 9 Kansas City, MO 64152, with Rev. Joe Cisetti as celebrant.
