Virginia L. Cline, 40, a Northland resident in Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at her home. She was born April 22, 1972 at the North Kansas City Hospital to Terry and Diane (Pike) McCoy. She was a 1990 graduate of Park Hill High School and lived her entire life in the Northland.
Virginia loved spending time with her family and friends and was an extremely caring person. She always looked forward to her seasonal job at Worlds of Fun. She spent the last few months caring for her grandfather and valued her time with him. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her parents, Diane and Peter Ambrette of Parkville, MO; a brother, Matthew Joseph Ambrette (Theresa) of Kansas City, MO; a sister, Kelli Ambrette (John) of Kansas City, MO; maternal grandfather, Charles Pike and paternal grandmother, Maxine McCoy; and dear friend, Lee Reyes.
A Funeral service celebrating Virginia’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. Graveside services and burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Koger Cemetery, Worth County, MO. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation-Kansas City Chapter and may be left in care of the funeral home.
