Victoria Cheri Brown, 28, of Blue Springs, MO was called home to her Lord and Savior January 12, 2017 in Kansas City, MO. Victoria was born June 9, 1988 in Rochester, NY to Mark and Sheryl (Swartz) Brown. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a Master’s Degree in Education and taught math at Blue Springs High School. She was an active participant in the Blue Springs High School Golden Regiment and served as an assistant during her teaching years. She was a member of the First Bible Baptist Church in Blue Springs. She loved the Lord and reading her bible. Victoria enjoyed all sports, especially baseball. She loved tutoring children, and coaching in ADP Sports. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Frank and Frances Brown; and maternal grandmother, Josephine Swartz.
Victoria is survived by her parents, Mark and Sheryl Brown of the home; sisters Kathleen Rose Keesee and husband Herschel of Topeka, KS, and Kristine Sarah Brown of Blue Springs, MO; maternal grandfather, Milton Swartz and wife Sheila of Rochester, NY; as well as many uncles, aunts, and beloved cousins.
Visitation for Victoria will be 5:00-8:00 pm Friday, January 20, 2017 at Blue Springs High School Performing Arts Center, 2000 NW Ashton Drive, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Performing Arts Center with burial to follow at Blue Springs Cemetery.
