
She was born November 9, 1933 to Bill and Irene Liggett. Rose graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City, MO. Prior to working as an auditor for AETNA Insurance Company, where she retired in 2000, Rose along with her husband, Jim owned and operated Quality Body Shop and Flaming Fondue Lounge, formally located in Riverside, Mo.
Rose was devoted to both her Lord and her family. She was a long time member of Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church. She was known as someone who took charge, worked hard, and enjoyed living life to the fullest. In addition to spending time with family, she also enjoyed watching classic westerns.
She is survived by her beloved son, Kevin Montalvo; grandson, Chris Montalvo and wife, Stefanie; and their children Dominic and Aurora. Along with her Niece Paula and husband, Jeff; and their children Elizabeth and Isabella. She was preceded in death by her Husband Jim; parents; and a sister, JoAnne Honeycutt.
All services will be held at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church on Friday, June 3, 2022. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service starting at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Services will follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to the church. Arrangements entrusted to Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville, Mo.

Kevin – I am so very sorry that I will not be able to be there today; however, my friend I will be in spirit. I will be praying for you and the rest of those who loved your mom, Rose! 2 Corinthians 13:11 says “Finally, brethren farewell. Become complete.
