Velta Jean (Kincade) Snipes, 77, passed away June 14, 2020 in Independence, Missouri. She was born November 22, 1942 in Malden, Missouri.
She is survived by two sons, Kyndl (wife; Kimberly) and Kyle Snipes; two granddaughters, Jamie & Rylee Snipes; two brothers, Tom & Mike Kincade and two sisters; Clarice (Kincade) Musgraves & Charlotte (Kincade) Schrader as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Buford Snipes, her parents, Leo & Melvina (Ray) Kincade, two brothers, Chalmer and Vernon Kincade and two sisters; Clara Lee (Kincade) Garland and Opal (Kincade) Ennis.
Velta was always a kind and generous soul that loved her family. Her smile was contagious. Her granddaughters brought her so much joy and spending time with them was her favorite thing to do.
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:26
Cremation internment will be at Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery with her husband.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Graveside services have been limited by the county to a total of 10 attendees. All attendees will be required to wear a mask. They also are unable to accept floral arrangements. Please join the Snipes/Kincade families at McCormicks in Kennet, Missouri on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 4:30pm for a memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for her two granddaughters educational needs.
