Tim was devoted to his kids and an active participant in their many activities through the years. He enjoyed sailing, snow skiing and traveling. Tim especially loved golf, even though the game brought him both joy and frustration. On the weekends, he would enjoy live music, watching sports, visiting a winery, going to the movies and occasionally trying his luck at a casino.
Tim was very gracious and tried his best to take care of those that he loved and cared about. He was a loving companion, a proud father, a dedicated peer and co-worker and a trusted friend.
Tim was preceded in death by both of his parents. Survived by his soulmate, Whendi McNab of the couple’s home; two children: Alex Connor and Emily Connor, both of Kansas City, MO; three siblings: Diane Butler and her husband, Porter, Eckberg of Colorado Springs, CO; Mike Connor of Manitou Springs, CO; and Kelly Smith of San Antonio, TX.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the University of Kansas Cancer Center- North Office and NorthCare Hospice for all of the loving care and support that you provided.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Meyers Northland Chapel, Parkville, MO. A Celebration of Tim’s Life will immediately follow at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the Connor family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to the Connor family to honor Tim, by purchasing a Memorial Bench in his memory; the bench will later be placed in English Landing Park. Memories of Tim and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.
