
Teddy was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Gulf War. He was on the USS Nimitz Aircraft Carrier, one of the largest warships in the world. During his service, he was able to travel all over the world including Korea, Singapore, Philippines, Alaska, Hawaii and Thailand. Teddy was also a member of the VFW Post 5606. He was employed with Bunzl Process for 22 years.
Teddy was preceded in death by his father, Theodore R. Jones, Sr. (2007); his mother, Paula Mary Jones (1986) and his sister Jenny Joslyn (2008).
He is survived by his sister, Angie Cox and brother-in-law Steve Cox; nieces: Tiffany Joslyn; Jessica Bower and Melissa Webb; nephews: Steven Cox and Todd Cox; along with ten great-nieces, nephews; many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Meyers Northland Chapel 401 Main St. Parkville, MO 64152. A Funeral service celebrating Teddy’s life will immediately follow at 6:30 p.m. at the chapel with Chaplain Ralph Testerman officiating. Interment with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at East Slope Cemetery, 5011 N. Gateway Ave. Riverside, MO.
