Tanner Jude Short, 19, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO. He was born November 27, 2000 in Lee’s Summit, MO to Travis and Valerie (Valverde) Short.
Tanner is a graduate of Blue Springs South High School. Tanner was a loyal friend who enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, and painting. Tanner was an amazing brother and son who made his family so proud. Tanner loved life and was never afraid to be who he was.
He is survived by his parents, Travis and Valerie Short of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Kayla Short of Blue Springs; maternal grandparents, Robert and Delores Valverde of Mission, KS; paternal grandmother, Cindy Alexander (Greg) of Shawnee, KS; paternal grandfather, Gary Short of Blue Springs, MO.
The family will receive friends and family from 5-7:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2020 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Memories of Tanner and words of comfort his family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.
