Tad was born on June 6, 1964, in Lubbock, TX, to Carol and Maurice “Jerry” Priddy. The family moved to Junction City, KS. Tad graduated from Junction City High School where he excelled in academics and athletics and was a friend to many. He went on to attend The University of Kansas.
On February 13, 1999, he married Erin Andrew and they made their home in Lenexa, KS. Tad and Erin valued time enjoying good food with friends and family, traveling, and adventuring. A favorite trip of theirs was to Italy and Greece. Tad also enjoyed playing golf with Erin. Tad was interested in history and enjoyed discussing a wide variety of topics. He was also a passionate fisherman and enjoyed many trips with his good buddies over the years. Tad was an excellent cook and took great pleasure in seeing Erin become more interested in cooking over the past several years.
Tad is survived by his wife of 23 years, Erin Priddy, as well as his sister Lisa Haskell (Jim) of Topeka, KS; Steven “Jay” Priddy of Pleasant Hill, MO; nephew Jason Haskell (Robin) and niece Ashley Holle (Brandon) and their children.

Erin,
My sincere condolences. It was heartbreaking to hear of Tad’s passing. I have so many fond memories of him dating back to middle school and so many of you two as a couple. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of Tad’s family.

I’m so sorry Erin. May the peace of Jesus wrap you up like a warm blanket.
So sorry Erin. I think about you everyday. I’ve had my own loss in the past week but I am at peace with that. My advice to you is to give yourself time to grieve and cherish the memories. You will get through it, I promise. Love you friend. ❤
My dear friend, I’m with you in your grief…. My heart goes out to you and the family…
Sweet Erin…I am so incredibly sorry to hear this news today. I am sure there are so many feelings and emotions at this time, but rest in knowing your family and friends love you so much. My deepest sympathies and may God‘s loving arms hold you close and give you peace.
I was always happy that Mark and Tad were friends growing up together in Junction City and remaining friends through out their lives. We got to meet Erin at their wedding. The sweetest wedding i have ever attended Itt was simple and elegant at the same time. It was evident that Erin was beautiful and Tad was happy. My grand daughter, Jessie, about 4 years old at the time also attended the wedding with her family Libby, 1 year old and her parents, Mark and Susi. Sam was born about 3 years later. Joshua, a boy about the same age as Jessie also at the wedding He and Jessie spotted each other and ran to each other and embraced. Jessie looked up at me and said,”I think I’m in love. ‘ Then there was music and Erin and Tad were on the floor dancing along with Joshua and Jessie. Joshua left Jessie and returned with a flower taken from one of the arrangements and placed it in Jessie’s hair. I have often wondered what became of Joshua.. Erin, I have thought of you often and how lovely your wedding was I’ve always known how smart Tad was and he certainly was to marry you. With love, Julia Ferguson, Mark’s mother
I’m so saddened to hear of the loss of Tad. Please know that Tony and I will be praying for you during these days. Let us know if we can help in any way. ❤️

So shocked to hear of Tads passing. He was my youngest cousin on the Priddy side. I’m the eldest.
He was an excellent swimmer when he was little, hence his nickname of “Tadpole”!
Praying for you.
Tad taught me many things in life: sleepovers in “the pit” at his house; water skiing at the sand pits; how to ice fish with his dad at Milford; how to play tennis (poorly for me); fly fish in Colorado and marathon weekend sessions of playing Dungeons & Dragons; and of course golfing. We worked together one summer at the Marina. In 1981, Tad and I went to many fraternity rush parties at KSU and KU. Many awesome road trips in the TR-7 solidified our life long friendship. In 1982, it was off to college at KU and shared a dorm room at JRP. We often said we pulled 2 all nighters a week; 1 was for studying and 1 was for partying. Our college journey parted a couple of times but was reunited as roommates on 3 more occasions. I can truly say that Tad and I fully experienced Lawrence, KS and college life together. When he took a break from college I visited him in his dorm where he was a ski lift operator in Colorado. He had so many friends and I do not recall ever an enemy — he was loved by all. When we later got serious with women in our life, he was there to stand up for me, and years later, I was honored to stand up for him at his wedding. Tad met his match in Erin and I am so happy that he found such a wonderful woman to spend time traveling, cooking, golfing and fishing. Many, many, many amazing memories. The past few years our only connection was by periodic phone calls.
I am sorry that I could not make the memorial for Tad. I would have liked to give you all a big hug and share some wonderful stories with his family and friends. I know that it has been a very sad and stressful time for us all. I miss Tad dearly. RIP, Lester Tad Priddy
