Terri, I am so sorry to read about your brother passing away. Although I never had the privilege of knowing him, I do know how special your family was ( your sweet mom Elaine that did speech therapy for Jayson) and continues to be. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Barb (Gray) Prine.
We are so glad Steve and Andy had such a close friendship. When Andy had his hip replacements Steve spent many hours at the hospital sitting at Andy’s bedside. Now recently Andy spent countless hours at Steve’s side as he went to Dr’s appointments, chemo and radiation Rx’s and again when he was at home feeling so bad. They were like brothers yet not blood brothers. We are grateful for the bond they had with each other. We so enjoyed the time Andy and Steve made the trip to Houston and stayed with us. Steve was an enjoyable house guest, being Mr. Neat-nik he was no trouble at all. He carried a Tide spot remover stick with him so if his shirt or pants had a spot on it he took care of it right away and if he did laundry he ironed his own shirts!!!
He could not get used to the traffic we have in Houston and on several occasions while riding in the car he would say “where do all these people come from”. It was our joy to know Steve and now may he have eternal rest. He is free from pain and suffering. Our love to you Stephanie and our prayers are with you as you continue your life journey. With love Andy and Marlene
