Stephen Franklin Bloss, 69, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, was born on May 7th, 1954, in Tucson, Arizona. On June 8th, 2023, he peacefully passed away in Kansas City, MO, leaving behind cherished memories in the hearts of all who knew him.
Steve is survived by his loving mother, Bonnie Bloss; his son, Stephen (Amy) and fiancé, Suzette. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie (George); his brother Greg, and his brother Jeff (Dawn). Steve was preceded in death by his father, Frank, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
Steve will be remembered for his zest for life and his passion for his favorite pastimes. In the winter, he found solace and camaraderie on the lanes of the local bowling alley, spending countless hours sharing laughter and friendly competition with his buddies. In the summer, he reveled in the tranquility of the lake, casting his fishing line from sun up to sun down. Steve’s love for the outdoors and his dedication to these activities brought him immeasurable joy and created memories that will be treasured by all who shared those moments with him.
Beyond his hobbies, Steve was a compassionate and loyal friend, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. His easygoing nature and ability to connect with others made him a cherished presence in the lives of many. He will be remembered for his wit, sense of humor, and his unwavering support for those he held dear.
As we bid farewell to Steve, we take solace in the memories we shared and the indelible mark he left on our lives. His spirit will live on through the stories and laughter we share when we gather to remember him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find comfort in knowing that his memory will forever be a source of inspiration and love.
His family will receive family and friends from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2023 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel. A private family graveside will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Grain Valley, MO. My husband and I had the pleasure to purchase two RV’s at Lifestyle with Steve’s help. What a delight he was. We knew him briefly, but he left us with great memories.
