Lot’s of Prayers for the Family and Friends
Since moving next door 17 years ago, we could not have asked for more kind and caring friends than Stan and Connie. We will miss our chats in the yard with Stan, and occasional lunches at the Big Biscuit. Most recently, we all went out to view the sunflowers at Grinter’s Farm, and will always hold the memory of Stan beaming as he viewed the shining fields of sunflowers. It was on his bucket list.
Connie and John, our prayers are with you as grieve, and you know you will always have our support.
My heart is saddened. I talked to Stan less than a month ago. He was such a kind, sweet man, my cousin…..Our love and prayers to Connie & John and all of the family at this very sad time.
Stan, what am I ever going to do without your infectious smile and uplifting advice? Such a wonderful friend whom I always loved!! You had such tremendous insight to life. I am at a total loss of what to say now with your passing other than you meant so much to me and my whole family, all these many, many years! God bless you Stan and keep you and bless Connie, John and your whole family as well. Such a loss!!! RIP Stan.
Dear Connie, John and family: While reading the Kansas City Star obits, I came upon the name of Stan E. Mosier. Now at my age of 83 my memory might have been a bit off but I do remember serving in the Navy with Stan while we were stationed at Naval Air Station Barber’s Point Hawaii. Faces and names are still something that I do pretty good even at this age. I was stationed in the Air Control Tower from May 1960 to May 1962. Stan was there during the same time. We were both Aerographers Mates, Navy’s name for Meteorologist and we were responsible for weather reports 24/7 . My weather training was in Lakehurst New Jersey, Dec. 1959 to May, 1960. Then I received orders to Hawaii. It was great duty and I remember Stan being a good shipmate and sailor doing his job and I thank him for his service. I am so sorry for your loss, I feel like his passing has left a void in my heart too, even though we haven’t seen each other for nearly 60 years. But I still remember him. Please accept my sincere sympathy as we say good bye to Stan. I know he will be missed greatly. Respectfully, William “Bill” Robert Kolas, 905 West 36th Street, Higginsville, Mo 64037-2132. (AG2 USN)
Connie , I was shocked to hear of p remember his voice when he called and always started by saying “Are you ready for this?” Well Stan, I wasn’t ready to hear you had left us. Connie, you and John will be in our prayers. I am so sorry you lost him so suddenly. Know that we love you and we’ll keep in touch. God is with you, and He will help you through this sad time.
Sorry, a sentence was omitted in the first writing. I said that I was so shocked to hear of Stan’s passing. I will always remember his voice …..
