Shirley Jean Granger, 87, a resident of Independence, MO until recently moving to The Madison Senior Living passed away peacefully Thursday, June 22, 2023. She was born May 15, 1936 to Lorne and Velma (Heape) Wallace in Saint Louis, MO.
Shirley Jean Wallace was united in marriage to Milton Hartwell Granger on July 14, 1953 in Piggott, AR. They were married for 61 years before he preceded her in death in 2014. Milt and Shirley bought Climatic Heating and Cooling in Independence in 1970 and operated a successful business for 22 years. She enjoyed her design projects, watching HGTV, and her companion Westie-Poo named “Little Bit”. Shirley believed there was a place in heaven for her and she was prepared to move on.
