Sharon “Sheri” Kay Farinpour, 74, of Kansas City, MO passed away September 10, 2022, at the North Kansas City Hospital. She was born January 24, 1948 in Kansas City to Jerry and Florence (Weldon) Johnson. Sheri attended schools in Sacramento. CA and spent the majority of her working career in the medical field, where she excelled in medical transcription.
Sheri was very devoted to both her Lord and her family. She was a long-time member of the Park Hill Baptist Church and the Phi Tau Omega Sorority. She will be dearly missed. Her love and generosity were felt by all who knew her and even those who didn’t.
Survived by two daughters, Lili Farinpour of Santa Barbara, CA and Cher Farinpour of Ventura, CA; three siblings: Jerry E. Johnson, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, David A. Johnson and Cheryl A. Johnson, both of Parkville, MO; a beloved grandson, Reza Farinpour of Summerland, CA; and stepmother Mildred Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

My condolences to the family. Sherry you have been part of my life for the past 7 years. You welcome me to Park Hill Baptist Church with open arms when my son and I asked to join that Easter Sunday 2015. Our friendship grew along with our love for God. We talked about your family your kids your trips to the lake and your sorority. Thank you for always thinking of me always coming to see me and have your mint chip ice cream cone. I love you so much and miss you dearly. I’m looking forward to seeing you again. You will forever be forever in my heart.
