Shelia Blakeman, 52, of Cameron, MO passed away suddenly November 27, 2020. She was born October 14, 1968 in Kansas City, MO.
Shelia was kind, caring, selfless, and was always looking out for others. Family was most important to her. She also had a love for animals and dearly loved her rescue dogs. Shelia had worked for SBJ Fuels, a gas station in Cameron for several years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Burlingame, on June 22, 2020. Survived by her beloved husband, Richard Blakeman of the home; daughter, Krystal Prosser and husband, Johnathan of Kansas City, MO; two sons, Richard Blakeman, III and Andrew Blakeman; sister, Tammie Waller of Belton, MO; and grandchildren: Mya, Kylee, Tyler, Ricky, Haley and Isabella; and extended family, Kali Lawson and Brodie Burlingame.
A register book will be available for signing and the body will lie-in-State from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2020, at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. Memorial contributions are suggested to Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter (FOPAS) and may be left in care of the Meyers Funeral Chapel Northland, 401 Main St. Parkville, MO 64152.
