Sharon Kay Mullins, 58, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Truman Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Sharon was born April 12, 1961 to Edward Lee and Sandra Sue (LeRoy) Davis in Kansas City, KS.
Sharon was united in marriage with Clifford Mullins on August 5, 1995 in Kansas City, MO. From this union they had a son, Cody Michael Mullins.
Sharon spent the majority of her working career at North Kansas City Hospital working in Medical Records; retiring after 18 years of dedicated service.
A warm and gentle soul has left this earth leaving a void in many hearts. Sharon will forever be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. Who had a kind and caring heart that was willing to help anyone in need. Sharon never knew a stranger; she always welcomed conversation to the person standing near her at any venue and they always parted as a friend. There were no age barriers on which she made friends; especially with her young Subaru car friends as they gathered in their newly found car club.
To our dearest Sharon, “Your wings already exist; all you have to do is fly high.”
Sharon is survived by her husband, Cliff Mullins; her son, Cody; her mother, Sandra Brown and step-father Ronald; two sisters: Pamela Pflumm and Cindy A. Read (Edward); a brother, Michael E. Davis (Kim); step brother, Steven Brown; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward L. Davis.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Meyers Northland Chapel 401 Main Street Parkville, MO. A Memorial Service celebrating Sharon’s life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to KC Pet Project or Synergy House in Kansas City.
