Sandi and I work many years together at St. Lukes. I will miss her so much. I didn’t get to see her much after she transfered down to the ER, but I got to talk with her by phone about admits. Sandi, was quite a special lady, she had a way about her that would, just make you have to laugh.. She did have attitude, that is for sure, but you just had to love her. I know that she was very highly respected from one of the surgerons here. I remember, one day he asked where she went, he was very upset, because according to him, Sandi was the only ward clerk that could do things right. None of us could hold a candle to Sandi. I will never for get that. When ever I see a bag of sour cream and onion potato chips I will think of Sandi, I know how much se love those. I pray for all of Sandi’s family, to remember those good times with her, She might not be here with you, but she is in your hearts, and always will be, she is closer to you now, then she every was. May God grant you the peace, strength and encouragement that you need, to help you through this time.
I have worked at St Luke’s North in the OB department for 20 years….it just seems like I would see Sandi every day I would work the 6-6 now 7-7 shift as she would clock in at the hall mid way and I would be going to the elevator…I just want to say to all of you that Sandi was such a wonderful morning treat for me…we would always say HI and then every now and then we would laugh about us being too old for this stuff . ” I have to make the donuts”….as we would just do our daily duties of showing up for work…and just laugh…I loved her smile and I will miss her so much…I loved to call the ER and, of course, Sandi would be there with a happy voice. Bless all of you guys in her family…I will pray for your hearts as there is not one real concrete thing I can do to help you “fix it”, but I will pray for you all…God is there with you always and in all ways…Peace to you.
Sandy was a very talented unit secretary, had a great sense of humor, and was there for you when you needed her. She will be missed. Our condolences to her family and friends.
Sandi, missing you every day.
