Rosalyn Bess James, 79, of Shell Knob, MO passed away January 14, 2022, at the North Kansas City Hospital. She was born June 20, 1942 in Junction City, KS to Alva and Ruby (Garrison) Haizlip.
Rosalyn attended Marion High School and earned an AA degree from Longview Community College. She spent the majority of her working career in data processing for Montgomery Wards, and later for TWA. Following retirement, she worked as a paraprofessional in Washburn, MO.
A kind and soft spoken woman, Rosalyn was a dear friend to many. She enjoyed living at the Lake and being outdoors. Rosalyn was artistic and creative.
Above all, family was most important to her. Survivors include two sons: Doug Priddle and wife, Janice of Kansas City, MO, and Darrel Priddle and wife, Allison of Nixa, MO; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald James; three siblings.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at the Turkey Mountain Estates Clubhouse in Shell Knob on April 8, 2022.
