Memorial service for Ronald Gonzalez has been set for Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs, MO. His family will receive family and friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. His family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association or American Heart Association. Ronald Steven Gonzalez, 71, a resident of Grain Valley, MO passed away peacefully Saturday, November 4, 2023 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born August 13, 1952 to Lorenzo and Refugia (Nieto) Gonzalez in Kansas City, MO.
Ronald was a 1970 graduate of Westport High School. He was united in marriage to Kathy Greco on January 31, 1998 in Independence, MO. Ronald was Christian by faith. He enjoyed playing pool, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, watching baseball, and watching cooking shows. Ronald enjoyed barbequing with family and friends. Above all Ronald cherished spending time with his beloved family.
Survived by his loving wife, Kathy Gonzalez of Grain Valley, MO; mother, Refugia Gonzalez of Kansas City, KS; children, Dominic Gonzalez (Dai Nguyen) of Kansas City, KS, Jacob Gonzalez (Stacy) of Overland Park, KS, Ruben Gonzalez (Kristin) of Kansas City, KS, Aysha Morris (Chance) of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Alyza Gonzalez, Estellita Gonzalez, Elaina Gonzalez, Sophia Gonzalez, Aubrey Gonzalez; siblings, Anita Gonzalez of Kansas City, MO, Michael Gonzalez (Sandi) of Kansas City, KS, Diana Aguirre (Michael) of Kansas City, KS, Mary Kay Vieyra (Bob) of North Platte, NE. Also survived by loving in-laws, a myriad of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Gonzalez; brothers, Arthur Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez.
So sorry for the loss of this family man. What a blessing he was able to be at his youngest daughter’s recent wedding. Sending up prayers

So sorry for your loss. We didn’t know him very long, but in the short time we did know him could tell what a kind hearted person he was. Such a sweet man.
Ronald was always the kindest, with the most positive attitude and welcoming smile! He had a way of letting you feel noticed and seen. He always went around the room, spreading his warmth. You’re so lucky that he belong to you. Not every family is grace or blessed with someone so charming.
