Roger Jester Jr., 38, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was born November 11, 1984 to Roger and Susan (Tompkins) Jester in Kansas City, MO.
Roger was a 2003 graduate of Blue Springs High School. He received a Master Welding Program Certificate from Crider’s Institute of Welding and was currently employed by the Fike Corporation as a welder. Roger enjoyed playing disc golf, fishing, and shooting guns. He cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Survived by his parents, Roger and Susan Jester of Blue Springs, MO; brother, Ryan Jester of Blue Springs, MO; sister, Melinda Bromley and husband of Blue Springs, MO; both grandmothers, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Roger is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Jester; maternal grandfather, Norman Tompkins.

Roger was one of my best friends in Junior High. We had a lot of laughs and several memories that stick with me to this day. He was a good man. May he rest in peace.
