Robert Eugene Goodack, 87, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at North Kansas City Hospital. Bob was born October 2, 1935 to John J. and Christine R. (Dolinar) Goodack in Kansas City, KS.
Bob is a veteran of the United States Navy; active duty as a pilot flying from aircraft carriers, especially the USS Enterprise from October 22, 1955 to October 22, 1958. The Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era. He later enlisted into the US Navy Reserves and was honorably discharged as a Lt. Commander on March 1, 1974.
Bob was united in marriage with Shari Loar March 16, 1990 in Olathe, KS. Bob will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Shari Goodack; 2 sons: Jacob Goodack and Scott Goodack; three step-sons: Jeff Graham; Jeremy Graham (Melissa); Greg Graham; and one grandson, Jack.
A Gathering will commence at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville, MO. A Committal Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Leavenworth National Cemetery 150 Muncie Road Leavenworth, KS. Memories of Bob and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.
