Robert “Bob” Stephen Gibson, 83, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at NorthCare Hospice. Bob was born July 4, 1938 to Max P. and Mildred (Stephenson) Gibson in Kansas City, MO.
Bob is a 1957 graduate from Southeast High School in Kansas City, MO. After graduation he worked at: the Kansas City Star, Kansas City Life Insurance, the Greenhouse Wholesale floral warehouse. He retired after 20 years as an Insurance Underwriter for Farmers Insurance in Kansas City. Bob was a man with strong work ethics and wasn’t scared to work multiple jobs at the same time.
He was an avid collector of Harley Davidson memorabilia and collecting stamps.
Bob was preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his daughter, Kim McClendon; three grandchildren: Courtney, Melissa and Mike; a sister, Betty Gibson; two brothers: Gerald Gibson and Richard Gibson; many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a good neighbor, when I lived in Kansas City. I moved to Washington in 2014 and just heard of his passing. My condolences to you. He loved to walk! I admired his ability!
