Robert Dennis “Bob” Burchett, 86, long-time resident of Shenandoah, IA passed away Monday, September 7, 2026, while visiting family in Kansas City.

A memorial service and celebration of Bob’s life will be held later this fall.  A more detailed obituary will be published soon.

Cremation has been entrusted with the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville.  Todd DeMint is our funeral director and personal concierge serving the family.

Loretta is a Kansas City Northland native and has played a key role in the success of the Meyers Northland location. On October 24, 2022 Loretta was promoted and named manager of our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade live in Kansas City, MO. She has two sons, Nigel and Ian. Loretta is enrolled in the Leadership Northland Class with the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the KCI Rotary Club.
