Rebecca Ann Pickrell, 62, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. She was born December 4, 1959 to Lowell and Betty (Miller) Elliott in Kansas City, MO.
Rebecca is a 1978 graduate of Blue Springs High School. She was united in marriage to Randy Lee Pickrell on February 18, 1978 in Blue Springs, MO. Rebecca was a bookkeeper until she retired. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, scrapbooking, crocheting, watching horror films, watching HGTV, and loving her dogs. Rebecca had a love for children and always enjoyed being the substitute nurse for the Blue Springs School District as well as spending time in the nursery while they attended New Community Church.
Survived by her loving husband, Randy Lee Pickrell of Blue Springs, MO; son, Nick Pickrell and wife Sarah of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Ann Pickrell of Blue Springs, MO; brother, William “Gus” Elliott and his wife Elizabeth “Beth” of St. Louis, MO.
Her family will receive friends and family from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the chapel. Burial will follow at the Blue Springs Cemetery.
