Ina “Pearl” Norquay, 89, of Riverside, MO completed her earthly journey on April 25, 2022. She was born December 23, 1932 in Jonesboro, AR to John and Pearl Mae (Pinch Back) Duncan.
Pearl was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She married her husband of 36 years, Arthur Norquay on February 28, 1986 in Liberty, MO. For the last 36 years, Pearl and Art traveled all over the Midwest, living the Native way and attending numerous Pow Wow’s. The last six years they travelled to South Dakota and participated in Sun Dances.
In addition to Art, survivors include her son, Chuck Blake; grandson, Daniel Blake and wife, Stephanie; granddaughter, Amy Blake and boyfriend, Jay Bradley; great grandchildren: Dylan, Ashlynn, Lila and Ciara; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters; and a grandson, Jarrod Blake.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. A Funeral Service celebrating Pearl’s life will begin at 12:00 p.m.





So sorry for your loss Chuck, Pearl was a great friend of my mom and me.
I am so sorry to hear Ms. Pearl has passed. I have so many found memories of working with her at Kiddi Kollege. Chief I will be keeping you in my prayers!

Pinchbeck invented the Pinchbeck Pump. (It is in the Museum in London, England). They pumped the water from the swamps around London. Sold the land and came to America and William Pinchback bought Pinchback Plantation. The name Pinchbeck became Pinchback in America.

Pearl and Art were wonderful neighbors to me in Riverside for a few years. She was such a sweet lady. My prayers to the family. She will be missed.
I’m just heartbroken learning of our loss of Aunt Pearlo. I’ll miss our weekly phone calls and the love we had for one another. Uncle Art I’m sending you a big hug and kiss. My prayers our with you and your family.
