Paul Fredrick Panos, 59, of Parkville, MO passed away peacefully on April 10, 2020 in Kansas City, MO. He was proud of his New York heritage, and was born in Manhattan, NY on June 18, 1960, the son of Robert L. and Barbara (Arffmann) Panos.
Paul moved to Kansas City in the late 1980’s, where he owned and operated a couple different restaurants, Salina’s in Parkville and PaPa Franks downtown Kansas City. A very spiritual person, he was devoted to his Catholic faith. His family and his relationship with his children were most important to him. You’ll never meet a man like him.
Survivors include his three children: Salina Barbara Panos of Parkville, MO, Paul Michael Anthony Panos of Kansas City, MO and Valerie Emily Ann Worth and husband, Nick of Parkville, MO; four siblings: Robert Panos and wife, Melissa of Parkville, MO, Lynne Panos-Davis of Brandenburg, KY, Gary Panos of Kansas City, MO and Chris Panos of Richmond, TX; two beloved granddaughters, Malayna and Autumn Tenpenny. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In memory of Paul, memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at St. Therese Catholic Church, 7207 NW Highway 9, Kansas City, MO 64152. In lieu of the COVID-19 pandemic, no formal service will be held at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. I’m so sorry for your loss I grew up with your father in Pomoano. Paul tought me how to ride a motorcycle something I’m still doing. Thanks to Paul I have enjoyed motorcycle for the last 40 years. Rest in peace brother.
