
Paul graduated from Washington High School and Kansas City Kansas Community College. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Paul had a long and rewarding career for General Motors in Kansas City, where he worked the majority of that time as a boiler operator. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be dearly missed. Paul had a great sense of humor and was always looking to help put a smile on peoples’s faces.
Paul was united in marriage with Connie Ann LeRoy on April 26, 1968 at Stony Point Christian Church in Kansas City, KS. Connie preceded him in death on August 17, 2020. Survivors include two children, Kristy (J.C.) Hoegler of Parkville, MO and Paul “PJ” Hoegler and wife, Charity of Parkville, MO; two brothers, Jerry Hoegler (Vicky) and Frank Hoegler; a sister, Tina Coleman; Six grandchildren: Tara, Kyhla, Jaron, Chayden, Kinsi and Mike; and 11 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Paul’s life at the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville on Monday, January 31, 2022. A Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation following until 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
