Funeral arrangements for 76 year old Kansas City Northland resident, C.H. Codding are pending and will be finalized at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mr. Codding was a member of the Liberty Christian Church. He passed away peacefully on Monday evening under hospice care, with his family at his bedside.

Carolyn Shatto, 67, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023. Carolyn was born November 25, 1956 to William and Mary (Haggerty) Anastasio in Kansas City, MO.
Carolyn is survived by her two sons: James Matthew Shatto and his wife Brittney; Jon Shatto and his wife Ashley: two wonderful grandsons: Oliver and Camden; and a sister Anne Garber. She was preceded in death by both parents, a sister Barbara and a brother-in-law Sid.

Arrangements are pending for 85 year old Northland resident, John A. Groth and will be finalized at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Mr. Groth passed away peacefully Sunday evening at the North Kansas City Hospital.
Brent Fulk Pulliam – Northland resident 12.03.2023
Brent Fulk Pulliam, 66, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully December 3, 2023, at the North Kansas City Hospital. He was born June 25, 1957 in Kansas City to Charles S. and Esther Josephine (Fulk) Pulliam. They preceded him in death.
Brent graduated from Park Hill High School and spent the majority of his career as a mechanic for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad, where he retired in 2010. Brent was of the Methodist faith and attended Platte Woods United Methodist Church as a young man.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Payette; and two brothers, Victor and Craig Pulliam. Survivors include a sister, Sarah Kutz of Troy, KS; and his beloved nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been entrusted with the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. Brent’s family will celebrate his life privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Great Dane Rescue https://greatdanerescueinc.com.

Jerry Blaine Calvert, 63, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his home. He was born July 9, 1960 to Ronald and Linda in Independence, MO.
Jerry was a 1978 graduate of Truman High School in Independence, MO. On October 22, 1994 Jerry was united in marriage to the love of his life Sandy Hoye in Independence, MO. He worked in the sales department for Queen Foods a Wholesale Distribution Center in Kansas City, KS. Jerry enjoyed barbequing, hunting, cooking, the holidays, and was an avid sports fan watching the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and all Mizzou sports. Above all Jerry cherished spending time with his family and watching his son, Austin play guitar.
Survived by his loving wife, Sandy Calvert of Blue Springs, MO; son, Austin Calvert of Blue Springs, MO; daughter, Erin Jeska-Kennedy and her wife Julia of Independence, MO; mother, Linda Calvert of Independence, MO; niece Katie Ring of Independence, MO; nephew Korby Ring of Independence, MO. Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Calvert; sister, Kelli Ring and her wife, Jan Wittek.
