Loved his genuine ability to make whomever was near him feel like the most important person in the world. Rest in peace sweet man. Much love to you all.
We are so sorry to hear about Lyle. I just heard the news from Sue (I always called her Susan). Our families knew each other from the Terre Haute days when us children were young. My father was a Methodist pastor, Marvin Grooms, and one Sunday evening our family went to Lyle and Judy’s church and it was an instant friendship between the two families. The Lees were always gracious and welcoming and it was equal for their children. It didn’t matter what time and miles separated us, whenever we knew we were going to get together with their family, we were excited. My Dad and Mom have recently passed and it brings me joy to know that they are reunited with Lyle and July again. I just hope Heaven has dinner theaters (one of their favorite things to do when they lived near Chicago.) God Bless the Lee family
