I always enjoyed working with Moyne at the Denmark Hall. Moyne, her sister Mary and Brenda Peterson organized the Festival of the Nativities here for years. She was so creative and fun to work with on this project. I appreciated her support for our little community.
Allison, Tori, and Austin. My heart goes out to you all and your sweet dad. Moyne was always kind and welcoming to me throughout my childhood and I am forever grateful to her. You all will be in my continued throughs and prayers as I know this time is difficult.
I remember her as a teacher when I attended Park Hill High School. I would visit her class to hangout then talk with her and everyone.
Moyne was a coworker at Park Hill High School but more than that she was counted as a friend by me as well as by many others including countless students she assisted through the years. Her gracious and generous spirit will be greatly missed.
I worked with Moyne from 2006 to 2016; we were teacher assistants at Park Hill High School. When she’d talk about retiring in the future, I always joked that she couldn’t retire until after I left. (At that time, I was applying for teaching jobs). Coincidentally, she retired the year after I left Park Hill! She was wonderful with our students, and she was very creative and crafty. She also gave me daily rides to the bus stop during the three years in which I did not have a vehicle. I hadn’t seen her in a few years, and it really saddens me to know that she is gone!
