Michael Joseph Welch, 63, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away June 23, 2023, following a rare battle with Vasculitis. He was born September 7, 1959 in Kansas City and lived his entire life in this area.
Mike graduated from Park Hill High School and Bailey Technical School. He spent his entire career in the automotive industry. The majority of that time was for FedEx Freight in Edwardsville, KS. He had a passion for working on cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mike was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He married Pamela Sue Hobbs on October 14, 1983 in Kansas City, MO. In addition to Pam, survivors include his two daughters: Kristen Shea Block and husband, Robert of Kansas City, MO and Rebecca Nicole Miller and husband, Andrew of Wellsville, KS; and his beloved grandchildren, Lindsey, Turner, Henry and Silas.
