Christa, Mike, you, and Jeff have been our friends for the past 39 years so Mike’s unexpected passing was a shock to all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
The nice thing about sharing your experiences with Christa and Mike at Mizzou was that the good times were twice as good and the bad times were half as bad. Always enjoyed Mike’s remarks about life and sports while we were at J-School in Columbia, Mo. He was an extremely polite person who made sure that you were part of his life whether it was tooling around Columbia, Mo. in his slick Corvette or attempting to get a good education. I particularly enjoyed his instant evaluations about life and have always remembered how much he loved Christa. I know he’s in the fast lane heading towards heaven and looking forward to seeing us all again whenever we all meet again….Certainly one of the very best people I’ve ever met !
Christa, may God comfort you during this time of sorrow. You are in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.
Christa, I am so sorry to hear about Mike. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Words seem to be inadequate onvey feelings at times of loss. Please accept my sincere condolence for the loss. As you. I knew Mike when he lived in Savannah, MO many years ago. I remember his good sense of humor which could be onrey sometimes. I remember his kindness and compassion. I remember him driving a Corvette and hanging out at Pryor’s gas station. Back then Savannah didn’t have much for entertainment (still doesn’t, lol). Mike was a true blessing to know. Although it has been many years since I’ve seem him, he blessed me with great memories. Thank you Mike.
I didn’t know Mike well, but I live on N. Beaman and used to visit with him when he walked the dogs. I was so sad to hear about his passing. I really enjoyed our visits. My sympathy to all of the family. Diane Watson
