
Michael was currently enrolled at Truman High School in Independence, MO. He was a member of the Boy Scout Troop 738 in Independence, MO. Michael enjoyed playing baseball, video games especially Call of Duty, deer hunting, fishing, and hanging out with his friends.
Survived by his mother, Alicia Rogers of Independence, MO, father, Michael Rogers of Independence, MO; brother, XanderRogers of Independence, MO; maternal grandmother, Judi Vice and Brian Chaney of Independence, MO; paternal grandparents, Danny and Lorie Rogers of Independence, MO; maternal great-grandparents, Wendell and Marilyn Vice of Grain Valley, MO.

Michael was a terrific young man. He would do yard work for me from time to time. He called me Ms Jeannie. I thought of him like a grandson. He always had a smile on his face. I believe I will be be seeing Michael in Heaven someday. Meantime…my heart is sure hurting.
