Dan and I are truly so blessed to have had Mary in our lives. She was always ready for a fun time, never not wanting to do anything or try anything we all wanted to do. We all enjoyed going out of eat or whatever idea came to mind, she was always ready to go. She will be missed by many, many loved ones and friends.RIP
So sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Mary….but I am sure she is enjoying reuniting with the rest of the Cummins clan…still…very hard to say goodbye….thinking of you all and my thoughts and prayers are with each one of you…..Joni….
I began working with Mary when I joined Blackwell Sanders in 1994 and through her retirement in 2005. What a great lady!! We shared the love of sunshine. She was SO young at heart. I loved hearing about her weekends antiquing with Larry and going honkeytonkin and dancing with friends at Denim & Diamonds. She was the hippest Mom and Grandma I knew! Her family, especially her kids, were everything to her. Mary will forever hold a special place in everyone’s hearts and memories that she met on this leg of her journey.
Go with God Aunt Mary. I will miss you immensely but rejoice in your new found freedom and happiness with The Lord. You always went out of your way to ensure folks were comfortable. I’ll always remember being lucky enough to have you so close to me in college, and being able to see you on occasion. I wish I’d been able to or taken more time to get to see you, but I will not lament, I will revel in the memories we have together.
I love you
Joshua
