Martin J. Wilson, 47, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 6, 2018. Martin was born December 14, 1970 to Willis and Charlene (Ball) Wilson in Hutchinson, KS.
He spent the majority of his working career as a chef for Plaza III and executive chef at the former Fillio Tower on the Plaza. He was recently employed at Johnson Granite Supply, a job he dearly loved and was also the owner/operator of his lawn service company.
He is survived by both parents; a brother, Mark Wilson (Janice) of Ft. Worth, TX; two sisters: Marcia Diasio (David) of Sterling, KS; and Marla Oldham (Mike) of Houston, TX.
A memorial service celebrating Martin’s life will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Hillside Christian Church, 900 NE Vivion Rd., Kansas City, MO 64118 with Rev. Andrew Beck presiding. Visitation 4-5:00 p.m., prior to the service.
