Mark Alan Wood, 63, of Sugar Creek, MO passed away February 10, 2023. He was born April 16, 1959 in Pontiac, MI to Leland and Freda (Salmons) Wood.
Mark spent the majority of his working career in construction, where he specialized in concrete work. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting, pool.
Survivors include his children: Megan Markey and husband, Bobby, Madi Wood and Nick Wood, all of Oak Grove; four siblings; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sibling.

Mark ,to many words come to mind when I think about u! U always came to my rescue any time I needed u! U were always straight forward with me and im truly blessed to have had a friend like u in my life! I no ur no longer in pain and just be ready cause when I get to see u again I’m gonna finally whoop u in pool! I love u and have since day 1!!!

Mark helped me when no one would. He was a good friend I knew him for a long while. About 15 to 20 years. I’m so sorry I didn’t keep checking on him. He told me he didn’t feel good a while back. Rest in peace and fly high brother. No more pain . I love ya Brother!
Omg. I am so sorry for your loss. Mark, you were truly one of a kind, you made everyone feel good about themselves even when they had no self-esteem.
