Marjorie S. Troy, 65, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017. She was born to Orville Groves and Stella (Rainey) Renno on September 26, 1951 in Kansas City, MO.
Marjorie was united in marriage to Jerry Troy on January 25, 1969 in Independence, MO. She enjoyed cross stitching, playing bingo, and attending sporting events.
Survivors include husband, Jerry Troy of Blue Springs, MO; children, Jennifer Troy of Blue Springs, MO, Jill Ellington (Chris) of Blue Springs, MO, Jeff Troy (Angie) of Blue Springs, MO; mother, Stella Renno of Independence, MO; brother, Danny Groves (Sarah) of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren, Tyler, Jase, Corbin, Madison, Dominic; great-grandchild, Kinsley. She was preceded in death by her father, Orville Groves; step-father, Robert Renno; brother, Terry Groves.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-6:30 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2017 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St., Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m., at the chapel. Memories of Marjorie and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com.

We remember Margie fondly she was always a great advcate for children during her PTA years. And always was a great fan at Baseball games. So very sad to gear of her passing.

So very sorry to hear about Margie’s passing. Every day in every way, the love she had for Jerry and their family was readily apparent. There was no bigger “Outlaw” baseball fan than Margie – her between the innings “Indian Outlaw” music entertained the parents, cheered on the team and irritated the competition.
