Loretta Belle Kammerich, 94, a longtime resident of Blue Springs, MO passed Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO. She was born February 9, 1928 to Archie and Goldie (Parson) Shrout in Grain Valley, MO.
Loretta was united in marriage to William A. Kammerich on February 16, 1946 in Olathe, KS. She worked as a Printed Circuit Fabricator for the Bendix Corporation. Loretta was a member of the Machinist Union 314 for 32 years. She was also a member of First Christian Church of Blue Springs. Loretta enjoyed crocheting, gardening, word search, puzzles, going to the casino, collecting seashells, mushroom hunting, and traveling to Texas with her husband in the R.V. For the last 2 months Loretta has been crocheting blankets for her grandchildren and other family members. Above all Loretta cherished her grandchildren.
Survived by her daughter, Linda Michael and husband John of Blue Springs, MO; son in law, James Hankins of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Nathan Michael (Michele), Rob Michael (Kim), Brandi Hankins (Pat), Jimmy Hankins (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Zachary Michael, Samantha Michael, Tyler Michael, Kagen Fetters, Nicholas Voss, Kailee Voss, Gunner Hankins, Cory Michael, Dalton Michael, Emmory Michael; great-great-granddaughter, Alexis Bales. Loretta is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Robert Kammerich; daughter, Cynthia Hankins; brothers, Francis Shrout, Kenneth Shrout, Archie Shrout.
In honor of Loretta’s husband Williams birthday, her family will receive friends and family from 1:00 – 2:00 with funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022 at First Christian Church of Blue Springs, 701 N.W. 15 St, Blue Springs, MO. Burial will immediately follow at the Blue Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society.
