Lindsey “Nikki Nicole Ramsey, 45, a resident of Grain Valley, MO passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, at her home. She was born February 11, 1977, to Thayne and Constance (Simpson) Ramsey.
Nikki graduated from Savannah High School in 1995. She worked as an office manager and an oral surgery assistant for over twenty years with Dr. Robert and Nancy Kern, they became family to her. She loved her fur baby Stevie and though she had no children he was all she could ever need! Nikki enjoyed playing volleyball and spending time with her friends! Her and her sisters shared a love of the Detroit Redwings and the Chiefs, she loved going and gathering to watch games for both! Nikki was a tough shell with a soft and sensitive filling! She loved her nieces and nephews as her own, and family meant a lot to her, blood or not. She will be deeply missed by so many, and we are ALL grateful to have known and love her!
Survived by her mother, Constance Simpson of Blue Springs, MO; father, Thayne (Teri)Ramsey of St. Joseph, MO; sisters, Jamie Ramsey of Blue Springs, MO, MacKenzie Simpson (Shane) of Blue Springs, MO, Trisha Grissom (Scott) of Amazonia, MO; brother, Steve Culver (Vanessa) of Amazonia, MO; niece; kiarra Brewer of Blue Springs, MO, Juliana Simpson of Blue Springs, MO; nephews, Cylas Brewer, Phoenix Deke of Blue Springs, MO; great-niece, Aamani Masterson of Blue Springs, MO. Nikki is preceded in death by her sister, Rachael Lynn Ramsey; niece, Greican Davidson.
Her family will receive family and friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 3,2023 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Memorial service will begin at2:00 p.m. at the chapel. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Pawportunities Animal Rescue at Pawportunities Animal Rescue.com. I will miss my friend Nikki. We met many years ago from each of us working in the dental field. I actually saw her only 2 days before her passing. I will always remember her as being a caring and kind friend and willing to be there to help others. I send my prayers to her family and to all who loved her, and especially to Dr and Mrs Robert Kern and staff.

I have many fond memories with Nikki from basketball, Vollyball, and flag corps. She was such a beautiful women inside and out. It was so nice to catch up after many years with fb. I remember Chad Leftin and I in Savannah. Our friends were always so jealous and couldn’t believe that a couple of skins and punks were such good friends with all the Ramsey sisters. I don’t think we could believe it either. And not a day goes by that I don’t think about those beautiful but also Rough and Tumble girls that were never afraid to get down a dirty with us guys. All of you so beautiful. It’s so hard to write this. I’m so so sorry Jamie. Thank you, to you and your sisters for never judging us and always coming to our aide if we needed you.
