I’m certain if I love you, I also would’ve loved Lila…sharing in your grief..
In His love and mine,
Carol E.
My life is far better for knowing you, Lila. I will miss our talks on Tommy and Melanie’s porch here in Colorado. I know where you were when President Kennedy died on November 22, 1963 (at school) and where you were when Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon on July 22, 1969 (at home in front of you television). I know you called your son Pee Wee and loved him very much. I know that you loved Tommy and Melanie with all your heart. I can still hear you asking me about Emma and Jackson: Aren’t they “precious”? You were a dear friend and I will always remember you, sweet Nanny.
Sad to hear of her passing , heartfelt sympathies and prayers to Pee Wee and his and Aunt Lila’s families . Our loss is Heavens gain .
I am so very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers for your family.

Sorry to hear about Lila’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and we were glad to know her. Our condolences to PeeWee and family.
Thoughts and prayers for the family. It was my privilege to know her many years as a neighbor and through Church and Bible Study. Blessings, Carolyn Andler
Lila was one of a kind. She coordinated weddings for many years at Platte Woods making many brides dreams come true as she herded groomsmen to behave. She was tiny but mighty. Lila was a regular in bible study always asking hard questions and keeping me in my toes. I loved her beautiful spirit. I have missed her. She adored the twins and her family. I am truly sorry for your loss, but am grateful for the rest she is experiencing in heaven. Thinking about Lila makes me smile. Praying for comfort and peace for the family.
Lila was a very caring person. One of the first people we met when first coming to PWUMC. She always was concerned about others – if Mary Jane Stover wasn’t in church or my Bob, Lila would make it a point to stop me and inquire about either or both. She was short in stature, but mighty in love for others. She has been missed after moving to Arizona but I knew she was with family. Now, she is resting in the arms of her heavenly family with no more pain. My sincere sympathy to her family.
So sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Aunt Lila, Uncle Buddy and PeeWee.
Prayers for your families during this difficult time.
Sorry to hear of Aunt Lila’s passing. Condolences to Jess Jr and everyone else that she loved best.
