Corey, Vernon and Stephanie, you have my deepest sympathy. Adequate and appropriate words escape me at the moment. Leanne was a very special human being and friend. She will be missed by many, and very missed by her MOCSA family.
My deepest condolences and prayers go out to Leanne’s family and friends. I knew Leanne through her work at MOCSA and was thoroughly impressed with the care and concern she put forth in her daily work for our agency. She loved MOCSA and it showed. We will miss Leanne dearly and do our best to carry on her legacy of providing for those who are in need with her same passion and zest she brought to our little corner of the world. A life well lived Leanne, God Bless you!
To the Family & Friends of Leanne,
Having been a former staff person at MOCSA, and receiving guidance throughout my years there from Leanne, my heart and soul ache with her passing. She truly left a legacy at my former agency, in particular, all the great foods and desserts that she would randomly make the agency.
Please know that Leanne will be fondly remembered by me, and spiritually, I am certain, she is probably already getting heaven organized, and fixing scrumptious meals for God and the Blessed Mother. Leanne’s family and friends will remain in my prayers.
Warm Regards,
Michele Paynter
We want to express our Deepest Sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Leanne always knew the answers to my questions at MOCSA. It was a great comfort knowing that I could ask her anything and she would be right there with the answer and ready to help.

Family, Friends, and Coworkers of Leanne Calhoon,
We have been really blessed to have shared the same circles, office spaces, homes, time, and laughter with such a beautiful, loving and compassionate woman. She was my Supervisor and I had the priviledge of learning from her for three years–two as a Volunteer Receptionist, one as a Full-time Employee on the Admin. Team.
I cannot count on one hand the widsom, and encouragement she shared with me during that time. I also have to mention the delicious treats she always provided for Staff. She truly believed in the mission here at MOCSA. I am saddened by her loss, but inspired by her strength and courage. I will miss her…we all will. Corey, Mr. Vernon, and Stephanie, you are in my prayers.
My deepest sympathy to Leanne’s family. Cory has been my friend for 20 years, and Leanne was a huge help to me as a young teenager. She was like a second mom to me during a pretty rocky time. Her compassion, strength, kindness and caring will be missed.
Leanne, I will miss knowing you are not here on earth but am proud of the integrity and passion you showed in your life. Thank you for your guidance and friendship. Sending love to all those friends and family who are missing her.
Much love,
Darcy
I remember Leanne from my childhood growing up she lived on the same street as my family & we spent many days playing together. Her family was so gracious in welcoming into their home to play with Leanne. So many wonderful memories of Leanne such as root beer floats & playing in the little white playhouse in her backyard, I was saddened to hear the news of her passing but know that she is no longer in pain. To Stephanie & all the family please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers. May our loving Lord wrap his arms around each of you & bring comfort to you during this very difficult time. Hold close all your precious memories of Leanne & they will help in the days ahead, Rest in peace dear Leanne.
Stephanie and Family, I am so sorry for you loss, I can’t even imagine what I would do if I lost my sister. Our Prayers and thoughts go out to you…again so sorry..
