Ken was raised on a farm in Cleveland, MO. He met & married Millie while stationed in Chicago. They moved back to Kansas City and Ken completed electrical engineering training at Central Technical Institute. He was hired by Trans World Airlines as an electrical engineer in 1956. World wide travel was enjoyed by Ken and his family. Ken served God’s Kingdom faithfully through the ministries of Sherwood Bible Church. Ken also devoted the best of his time and energy to his family. He was an avid fan at his children’s Park Hill School District activities. This devotion continued as grandchildren began their schooling in Park Hill. He continued to support Park Hill by running the clock at football games and by attending his daughters’ classrooms in their first years as teachers in the school system. He was considered a “Super Booster” at Park Hill and remained a faithful fan and supporter until his death. Ken’s loyal support of his family was not limited only to the Northland. He traveled to Oklahoma and Texas to cheer on his grandchildren in their activities and attended high school and college graduations in Oklahoma, Ohio, Colorado, and California. He was very proud to see his first grandson graduate from the Air Force Academy. His smiling face and quiet presence was a constant in the lives of his family, in both the big moments and at small family gatherings; and he will be sorely missed.
