Keith was united in marriage with Deborah Davis on June 12, 1982 at Bristol Hill United Methodist Church in Kansas City, KS. From this union they had three wonderful children.
Keith worked at American Micro Company as the Chief Financial Officer for almost 26 years.
He was very active in his church, Harmony Vineyard and was devoted to both the Lord and his family. Keith was a Director of the Men’s Ministry for many years.
He was an avid sports fan, but especially the Kansas City Chiefs, the KC Royals and KU basketball. Most importantly Keith enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He will never be forgotten and always in our hearts.
Keith was preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah McAdam; three children: son, Kevin McAdam (Andrea); daughters: Amy Dean (Daniel); Megan McAdam (fiancé Joshua Morrison); four beautiful grand-children: Ariella Morrison; Ainslee McAdam; Weston McAdam; Cullen Mc Adam; a sister Shirley Jean Skuban; a nephew John Skuban a niece Courtney Gann.
A Visitation will be held from 9:30 -10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Harmony Vineyard Church. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor John Brown presiding. Keith was a great man of God. He was one I could go to for prayer over anything. He was a dear friend. I will miss him a lot. Praying for you all.
May God bless you and your family during this very difficult time . Our prayers are being said for you and our hearts are heavy with this sudden tragedy for you. Hugs.🙏
We are still in shock. Keith was a gentle, kind, caring soul. I am so sorry for your loss. He touched many lives for good, for eternal good, including James and mine. Strength and comfort to you.
Sorry to hear about Keith. Love and hugs to his family. I was 3 yrs younger at Oskie HS; enjoyed choir and band with him.
Hugs to Shirley and Keith’s family….
We were lifelong Oskie friends…. His family and mine spent time together; especially our mothers. In H.S. we were competitors in band for first chair trumpet ! Many hours were spent together practicing and performing within our brass quartet and marching band. Keith was always quiet, considerate and well liked.
Keith will be missed. Always a smile on his face. A gentle man who loved everyone.
My love and prayers to you all. My heart is broken for you as you were all so close, and Debbie, I know you lost your best friend, as well as life partner. I remember Keith as a happy, kind man who could fix anything! He might make a little fun of our less than capable attempts at “fixing” our rental issues😉. But was always willing to help. I’m so thankful for his strong relationship with the Lord and know we will see him again in glory! Til then, May God hold you in the palm of His hand and give you strength, courage, comfort and peace, til you see him again. Love you all!
Condolences to wife, children , grandchildren and Shirley. I heard of Keith’s death through his sister via messenger. As children in the Hedrick family we had many good times together. As a first cousin I was shocked by the news. Fortunately via Facebook I was able to keep up some with Keith and his family. Hallelujah he is in heaven with God during thus Holy Week. We are closer to end times than. ever and I look forward to reuniting with him in heaven for ever and ever.
My heart is heavy with this sudden tragedy. My prayers are with the family during this time. May you find comfort and peace in God’s loving presence.
So very sorry to hear this sad and shocking news. As a friend of Shirley’s, I spent many happy times at the McAdam home in Oskaloosa. Love and prayers to the entire family.
So sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God give you strength and heal your broken hearts.
Keith and Debbie were married in June of 1982.
Bob and I were married in September of 1982. After our marriage, we moved to Kansas City from Albuquerque, New Mexico and lived below the McAdams at Hunter’s Glen Apartments. Before meeting them in person, Bob and I could hear lots of music, both instrumental and vocal. Never did I dream that my prayers for a new, close KC friend would be answered while washing clothes in a basement laundry room. (God is so good!) Two years later, Debbie and I were excited to announce to each other that we were expecting. Our first-born sons were delivered just 12 days apart. Next, we were blessed with daughters born less than 6 months apart. Our friendship often centered around play dates, birthday parties, VBS, etc. McDonalds was a favorite place to meet up and dinners out (with and without kids) were a treat. Of course, Keith was master of the BBQ grill. Our move to St. Louis in 1995 was difficult because friends who share the good and challenging parts of a life’s journey are hard to find.
I will always be grateful for Keith’s Facebook posts and pictures of family gatherings that helped to keep me in touch with our special friends. Our loss is truly heaven’s gain!
I am so sorry to hear about Keith. I really enjoyed being here in band and our county sing out group. I am so glad we joined last summer for our 50th reunion. We had a great talk.
We miss Keith. We miss him because we remember many great and fun memories with him and Debbie, as friends and not knowing them only as In-laws to our daughter. We know he is more alive than ever with Jesus and left a wonderful legacy. He was a very special man. ♥️
We miss Keith as a great friend and remember so many fun times with him and Debbie!
Keith, you are with Jesus and having the best life ever!
We love you!
Duane and Sandy
So sorry to hear of Keith’s passing.
We met as randomly assigned roommates in a dorm at Emporia State fifty years ago, and we’ve been in at least occasional touch ever since. We were also music majors together at ESU.
I’ll always recall Keith as a wonderful, positive guy who got along with everyone.
Condolences and prayers for all the family.
So sad to hear about Keith. He was a wonderful classmate at Oskaloosa and such a dear friend. We were in the local UP with People group for several years. I am so glad we reconnected after our 50 year class reunion this past summer. Condolences to Shirley and his family. He will be missed.
