
Karen graduated from Park Hill High School in 1980. In her leisure time she loved collecting dream catchers, was an avid reader, and crafting macrame gifts for family and friends. Karen will be remembered for her love and compassion.
Karen is survived by her loving mother, Rosemary Garretson; four siblings: Colleen Youmans; David Garretson; Beverly Garretson; Brian Garretson (Mario); two nieces: Autumn Garretson and her husband Steve Gribble; and Chris Garrett; three nephews: Tim Camilletti; Robbie Camilletti and Michael Camilletti; a great niece Kristen Camilletti and great nephew Kristopher Camilletti. She was preceded in death by her father Robert; a brother Anthony Garretson; a brother-in-law Mike Youmans and her grandparents.
A Celebration of Karen’s life will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville, MO. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
