I worked with Julie at the Vogue in Indianapolis. We were instant friends the moment we met. I was the head dancer there and she would make custom unique outfits for me. I am so saddened by your loss of a truly beautiful girl.
I was so sorry to hear of Julie’s passing. I worked at Wolfsie’s when SavABuk was next door & I remember the worry about her health & I always wondered how she was getting along. There’s nothing worse than losing a child & my prayers go out to you, Carol & your whole family.

Carol and family, I would like to send my condolences to you all in regards to Julie. I don’t know if over the years you would still remember me, but at a time I would like to think that Julie and I were close. I recall traveling over to Galesburg from Franklin soon after we meet. Also on your relocation to Indianapolis. I was very fond of Julie knowing that she had struggled with health issues early in life. I last saw Julie at a Super Bowl Party at Tim and Beth Clarks some years ago. She seemed to be in fine spirits and we talked of a great many things that had transpired for us both over the years. She was a glad site for me to see and I will always remember her fortitude and love of all things positive. She is missed by a multitude I am sure, and I was glad to know her as well as I could for that brief time I was allowed to. Peace is with her now, peace be with you as well.
Carol and family,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of your daughter, Julie. I can’t imagine how difficult losing a child must be. I hope that you are comforted by the wonderful memories that she has brought you. Take care.

We first met Julie as a student in high school, and it did not take long for us to appreciate her as a special individual. Julie,s love of life, her creativity, her artistic talents, her tolerance for others, and her desire to learn forever shaped her in her adult life. She was truly a unique individual.
Although decades have passed since we first met, Julie never failed to stay in touch or to keep us abreast of the events in her life. Her constant philosophical questions about life and purpose will forever inspire us to remember the type of person she was.
Undoubtedly, our lives have been enhanced by having known Julie. She will be missed and always appreciated by two old history teachers.
