Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Church of the Santa Fe, 231 S. Sibley St, Buckner, MO. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Church of the Santa Fe. Judy Keane, 78, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Thursday, April 6, 2023 at the Benton House of Blue Springs. She was born January 4, 1945 to Joseph and Mildred (O’Connell) Sacamano in Kansas City, MO.
Judy was a 1963 graduate from Bishop Hogan High School in Kansas City, MO. She was united in marriage to Joseph F. Keane on September 10, 1966 in Kansas City, MO. Judy was a parishioner of Church of the Santa Fe in Buckner, MO. She loved her pets and enjoyed reading, making ceramics, and crossword puzzles. Above all Judy cherished her family especially her grandchildren.
Survived by children, Shannon Purviance and her husband William of Blue Springs, MO, Kelly White and her husband Jason of Grain Valley, MO, Joseph Keane of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Luke White, Katie Purviance, Leah White; sister, Theresa Aldrich; sister-in-law, Mary Eileen Keane; brother-in-law, Jim Keane and his wife Diane. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Keane; parents, Joseph and Mildred Sacamono.
Judy was our sweet neighbor. She loved to mow and grow beautiful flowers. She was so proud of her family. She will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace.
