Joyce Ann Brown, 63, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Monday, March 27, 2023 at her residence in Blue Springs, MO. She was born July 9, 1959 to Lewis Leon and Barbara Joan (Johnson) Pruett in Kirksville, MO. In 1999, Joyce married the love of her life, Frank Hunt Brown, in Kirksville, MO.
Joyce graduated from Kirksville High School. Joyce spent her working career as an LPN for over 38 years. She received her Nursing license from Kirksville Area Technical Center. She later continued her education and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. She enjoyed reading romance novels and watching all of the cooking shows that were on. She also enjoyed all of the true crime shows and mysteries. Above all else, Joyce loved her family and held them dear to her heart.
Survived by her husband Frank, her children; Melissa Lueckenhoff and Kevin Lay, Joyce’s siblings; Vickie, Connie, Christie, Michelle, Glen, Russell and Robert. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Adalyn, Theo, Olivia, Austin and Isaiah and great granddaughter, Ophelia. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Laura
