John W. Wallace, 53, born May 29, 1959, passed from this life on January 10, 2013.
The rock and roll party boy graduated from Blue Springs High School and Central Missouri State University. He was an avid reader with an intelligent and crazy sense of humor who would help anyone. He enjoyed the outdoors tremendously, sailing and was a member of the Paradise Pointe Yacht Club. John followed the Kansas City Chief’s, loved and was loved by many football friends. While saddened at his loss, which came way too early, find comfort in remembering that John could use the star lit night to find his way home. He has found that home now in calmer waters and a peaceful sea.
Mother, Betty Schupp and Father, L. Warren Wallace of Kansas City, MO preceded John in death. Survivors include his sister, Mary Ann Wallace, Independence, MO and Step-Father, Vincent Richfield, Blue Springs, MO, dearest friend, Kent Roscher, Blue Springs, MO and more loving friends then he ever realized. . . . Oh, and that stupid cat. His intelligence, compassion and humor will be greatly missed, until we meet again.
Friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 2nd from 6-9 PM at Clancy’s Café & Pub, 800 NW South Outer Road, Blue Springs, MO 64015. Donations to cover his final expenses will be accepted
