John Albert Thoman, 74, a resident of Slater, MO passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Saint Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. He was born January 21, 1948 to Albert and Ruth (Starkebaum) Thoman in Higginsville, MO.
John graduated from Higginsville High School in 1966. He worked as a track supervisor for the railroad. John was Christian by faith. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and playing his guitar.
Survived by his children, Brent Thoman and fiancé Emily Geiser of Blue Springs, MO, Brandi Blackwell and husband Ray of Wyandotte, OK, Clint Thoman and wife Kristina of Hereford, AZ; grandchildren, Corben, Jacob, Gabriel and wife Gabrelle, Travis, Chelsea, Courtney; significant other, Kathryn Belcher; siblings, Robert Thoman and wife Brenda of Higginsville, MO, Hubert Thoman and wife Pat of Burleson, TX.

John would go with us as we welcomed the Run for the Wall motorcycles riders as they stopped in Concordia Missouri. Great guy
I grew up with John . John , Keith Gadt , and myself were in separable in all our years in school. Keith was born 14th, myself 16th and John 21st. Keith and I were 1st
Cousin s and John was a 4 th cousin. As w so many relationships I have not seen John do 20 years but will never forget out times together. My condolences to his family.
